a wistfully-windowed imitation of the ISS cupola

Every since discovering the ISS Lamp by Nathan Bergey, I’d wanted to create something that you could look at and be reminded that the International Space Station was always flying overhead.

So I built @cupolabot, a tweet every 45 minutes (twice an orbit) of an imitated view from the ISS cupola. A “trick” it uses is different static satellite imagery depending if the actual station is in day or night.
